EXPO 2002 WINNERS FROM THE ARAB AREA


Students from the Arab area performed exceptionally well in the recent statewide Computational Science EXPO held at UAH in Huntsville on May 4th.  Arab Junior High School had Superior projects in both divisions in computational science, swept the non-scientific visualization division, and one student scored in the top 10 scores in the computational science written test.  Rebecca Hunt of Arab Junior High School was awarded a Superior recognition in  the DeltaCom Difference Award with her essay addressing the topic “Insights and Outcomes – How ASPIRE Has Changed My Outlook on Learning.”  Arab Junior High School was also recognized for second place in the school website competition.
