For the ASPIRE program to be successful, your students must be involved in computational science and/or math projects. Explain why you feel you can be successful in getting your students involved in such projects during the 2000-2001 school year. (250 words or less)

I understand that, if selected, I will be expected to implement (teach) the ASPIRE materials during the 2001-2002 school year, and that students will display computational science projects at the 2001 EXPO.  I agree to attend the intensive 2001 Summer Institute.  I also agree to attend the fall and spring follow-up workshops and the state EXPO in the spring.  I have no plans to leave the school through which I making this application.
